An Automation Engineer by trade, Stéphane brings extensive business and engineering experience for over 20+ year. At ABB & Schneider (formerly Invensys), Stéphane managed the engineering department for Western Canada, overseeing about 45 employees. Stéphane spent the last 5 years designing and proving advanced aeroponic growing methods and systems. His belief in the coming age of indoor agriculture to have the best solutions available has created the solid foundation for CanMax He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geoscientists of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
A Machinist by trade, Karlo brings extensive business and manufacturing experience for over 20+ year. Karlo also runs a full-time business providing CNC and metal work services to industrial customers. Karlo provides management and direction to CanMax and his entrepreneurial experience is helping determine the CanMax vision and strategic path for the future.
Shane Kandalaft, B.COMM
Shane brings 15+ years experience in Cannabis cultivation and Automated Controlled Environment Agriculture specializing in Hydroponics and Aeroponics. He has designed several facilities and turnkey solutions. Shane strives to create a symbiotic relationship between producing the highest quality cannabis at the lowest cost per gram by using recipes that are repeatable and scalable. He has extensive experience with different international brands of growing equipment, nutrients, lights and seed providers. He brings a diverse knowledge of medical cannabis and the medicinal effects the different components of cannabis provide.
